1. Whatever you believe, you are right.
"He can who thinks he can, and he can't who thinks he can't. This is an inexorable, indisputable law."

• どんなことを信じようが、君は正しい。
  • 「できることとおもったことをできる人間は、できないことを考えることができない」、これらは、動かしえない法則である。

2. Push your limits.
"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."

• 限界を伸ばせ
  • 私はいつも自分ができないことをやろうとしている。そうすることによってどうやればいいのかわかるからだ。

3. Don't wait for inspiration or the right moment.
"Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working."

• インスピレーションが沸くのを待ったり、機会をうかがったりするな。
  • インスピレーションは常に存在するため、私たちがそれを実現しに行かなければならない。

4. Act.
"Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone."
"Action is the foundational key to all success."

• 行動せよ
  • やろうとしていることを明日まで引き伸ばすことは、それをやらずに死なせてしまうことになる。
  • 行動することが成功するすべての基礎になる。

5. Ask the right questions.
"Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not."

• 正しい質問をせよ
  • 他の人たちは、いまの状態をみて、どうしてそうなっているのか質問する。私は、なにになりうるのか、なぜそうならないのか質問している。

6. See the hidden beauty by not judging.
"If only we could pull out our brain and use only our eyes."

• (風評や常識で)判断することなく、隠された美を「見」よ
  • 頭でっかちにならずに、目をつかってみることできれば!

7. It's not too late.
"Youth has no age."

• 常に「遅すぎる」ということはない
  • 若さには年齢という概念はないのだから
