米国で小規模であれば無償でもSNSを作成できるNingですが、CEO交代とともに、大規模なレイオフと無償サービスの終了をアナウンスしています。日本でいうとSo-net SNSのようなサービスです。なかなか収益か見えない無償サービスとVCの意向もあって有償サービスに選択と集中するという戦略だとは思いますが、米国での小規模ユーザーにとっては衝撃ですね。
